Non-Medical Trustee — Join the ASiT Board

The Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) is seeking a motivated individual from a non-medical professional background to join its Board of Directors as a Non-Medical Director/Trustee. This voluntary role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of a national charity dedicated to promoting excellence in surgical training.

The successful candidate will bring experience in postgraduate education or professional training and provide an independent perspective to support ASiT’s mission, ensuring compliance with charity governance standards and helping to shape the organisation’s future direction. Responsibilities include participation in Board meetings, strategic decision-making, and contributing expertise to support ASiT’s activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a meaningful role in supporting the next generation of surgeons while gaining Board-level experience within a well-established charitable organisation.
