As ASiT marks its 50th anniversary, we are proud to launch our Mission Statement for 2025–2030, a clear articulation of our purpose, vision, and values for the next five years.
This document sets out our commitment to championing surgical trainees across the United Kingdom and Ireland. It defines how we will strengthen trainee voice and representation, improve access to high-quality training, promote equity and inclusion, and advocate for meaningful reform in surgical education.
Grounded in evidence, collaboration, and integrity, our Mission Statement provides the foundation for our 5-Year Organisational Strategy and annual operational plans.
As we enter our sixth decade, our ambition is clear: a future where every surgical trainee thrives.
