Surgical Specialities & Trainee Associations
Surgical training is hard enough on your own! Membership of speciality trainee associations is important for the healthy dissemination of information, education and ideas.
Below is a list of surgical specialities recognised by the Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST) with the corresponding trainee associations and speciality associations. Each trainee association has one or more representatives who act as a point of contact between trainees, ASiT, the respective speciality association and the Speciality Advisory Commission (SAC). All representatives are part of ASiT Council and are invited to attend regular meetings and organise pre-conference courses.
