ASiT Annual Conference 2025

We are delighted to announce that the 49th ASiT Annual Surgical Conference will take place in Belfast from 7th to 9th March 2025!

Venue: ICC Belfast, 2 Lanyon Place, BT13WH 

Book early to take advantage of pre-conference courses available for delegates and to take advantage of our early bird rates. ASiT annual conference provides an opportunity for surgeons of all grades to network with colleagues from all surgical specialities, hear the latest updates in clinical practice and find out what the future holds for surgical training.

Early bird rate ends 24 hours after abstract announcement.  Abstracts due to be announced week commencing the 6th January 2025.

ASiT is pleased to launch its annual yearbook competition for the 2025 conference!

Submission Deadline:  23:59 GMT 2nd January 2025

The theme of this year's conference and yearbook is Learning from Trauma. We are looking for your artwork to print as the front cover of our yearbook.  The first prize winner will be featured on the cover of our annual yearbook. 2nd and 3rd prize winner will be included in the yearbook as well. 


Submission Guidance:
  • Participants must be members of ASiT at the time of submission
  • Your entry should be original work and not reproduced from existing artwork or graphics. If it includes clinical images, this must be with explicit written consent from the hospital/trust, and/or patient.
  • Your image should be submitted as a .jpeg file with the longest dimension equal to 4000 pixels. The total file size should not exceed 10MB.
  • Please submit your image with the file name: yearbook_competition_your name.jpeg
  • All submissions need to be submitted using the form below
  • Any queries can be submitted to our Yearbook and App lead (Manal Ahmad) at manalahmad.ma@gmail.com
  • Entrance into the competition gives ASiT the copyright to use your image in the ASiT yearbook, app, website and other promotional material
  • Your interpretation of the theme must relate to surgery but can include any speciality group
  • Entries will be judged and voted on by the ASiT Council
  • You must declare if the work submitted has had use of AI or AI applications in its production
