Robotic Surgery in the UK has seen a rapid expansion in recent years. The diffusion of robotic assisted surgery into surgical practice will create many exciting opportunities but there are also significant challenges related to access and quality of training in the UK.
As Robotic Surgery expands, it is vital that surgical trainees from every specialty are considered key stakeholders in the development of training pathways and in accessing educational opportunities.
