Mr Janso Joseph

Mr Janso Joseph is a Consultant Upper GI surgeon at Addenbrooke’s (Cambridge University Hospitals). He trained in surgery across both sides of the Atlantic: core surgical training (equivalent) at Johns Hopkins Hospital; Higher Surgical Training in the Glasgow and Cambridge Deaneries; and an Advanced GI Surgery Fellowship (robotic, bariatric) at Harvard Medical School. With his wife (who is also a surgeon), he co-authored "Smashing the Core Surgical Training Interview: a holistic guide to becoming a surgeon". He is a member of the Global Affairs committee at SAGES, and is faculty on their Global Laparoscopic Advancement Program (GLAP). He is the recipient of a Queen's Medal for Service as an Ebola fighter in Sierra Leone.
