Mr James Glasbey

James is an ST6 General Surgery trainee interested in surgical oncology and conducts collaborative research for patient benefit. His research portfolio spans late-phase clinical trials in perioperative care and data-driven health systems research. He has a growing portfolio of work in digital health innovation and is working to disrupt clinical pathways using frontier AI and evaluate these efficiently. He holds a post as an Assistant Professor at the University of Birmingham and an RCS Hunterian Professorship (2024).
