Daniah Alsaadi

Ms. Daniah Alsaadi is a dedicated and highly motivated Urology Specialist Registrar (SpR) affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is currently an ST4 in Beaumont Hospital. She has built a strong academic and clinical profile underpinned by a clear commitment to excellence in urological care, minimally invasive surgery, and healthcare leadership. She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master of Science (MSc) with Distinction in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery from University College London, where she completed specialised training on the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical platform, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management. Her multidisciplinary training enables her to combine clinical excellence with innovation, research, quality improvement, and healthcare leadership.

Alongside her clinical practice, Daniah has held several regional and national leadership roles, including Regional Principal NCHD Representative, Perioperative Directorate Lead, Rota Coordinator, and mentor within structured intern mentorship programmes. She is passionate about supporting trainees throughout their surgical journey and has been actively involved in mentorship, teaching, trainee wellbeing initiatives, and improving the training environment for junior doctors.

Daniah is also an Ambassador and international faculty member for the Advances in Surgery (AIS) Channel, where she contributes to global surgical education through teaching, mentorship, international webinars, and the development of innovative educational programmes for surgeons and trainees worldwide.
Academically, she is the author of more than ten peer-reviewed publications and has presented her work at national and international conferences. Her contributions have been recognised through several awards, including the Certificate of Excellence for her leadership as Regional Principal NCHD Representative and Perioperative Directorate Lead, First Prize for Best Intern Presentation, and selection as an Ireland regional finalist in the Bronze Cystoscopy Competition. She has also received recognition for highly cited publications.
As the ASiT Regional Representative for the Republic of Ireland, Daniah is committed to advocating for surgical trainees, promoting excellence in surgical education and training, supporting trainee wellbeing and mentorship, and strengthening collaboration between trainees, trainers, and national surgical organisations to help shape the future of surgical training in Ireland.
