Srinivas Cheruvu

Srin is the most recent ASiT President, working as ST6 in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the Oswestry-Stoke rotation. He graduated from Imperial College London where he also completed a BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia. He returned to the West Midlands as an Academic Foundation, Core and now Higher Surgical trainee where he greatly enjoyed involvement in surgical education.In addition to surgery, Srin has completed a LLM from the University of Edinburgh, specialising in Medical Law.

As ASiT President, Srin chaired the ASiT executive team, council of regional reps, specialty reps and invited members, and works closely with RCS England, RCS Edinburgh, JCST, AoMRC, ATDG and the chairs of specialty surgical training associations to advocate for the highest standards in surgical training.
