Locally Employed Doctor (LED) / Specialty Doctor Representative
Aqua Asif is an incoming Locally Employed Doctor who has recently completed the Academic Foundation Programme and is preparing for a career in urology. She holds a keen interest in curricula development and workforce planning, which fuels her dedication to the ASiT Council.
As an integral member of several esteemed organisations such as BURST, NSTS and ASiT, Aqua brings extensive experience in international collaboration and inter-organisational cooperation. She is passionate about advocating for LED and SAS doctors, focusing on equitable access to professional development, opportunities for career progression, and inclusion in leadership and educational roles.
Outside of medicine, her interests include spending time with her family, especially playing video games with her brothers, as she no longer has the time for competitive eSports!
