What will the course entail?
Part 1: Tips and tricks to acing your interview
The P4ST3 course will kick off with a 1-hour specialty-specific session in the morning giving you high-yield tips on how to ace your application and interview - i.e. delegates applying for plastic surgery will attend a talk delivered by plastic surgery registrars. 

Part 2: One-to-one hour-long mock interview 
Delegates will get the opportunity to take part in an hour long mock interview, inclusive of time for feedback. Stations will be run by experienced registrars in their respective specialties. Delegates will also have the ability to observe an interview undertaken by one of their peers to maximise their learning from the course.

Who is eligible to join the course?
Any ASiT member of any grade can join the first part of the course. The second part, however, has very limited places. Hence, only ASiT members applying for ST3 this year will be eligible to join the mock interview. (Please see 'Important Information' section below.)

Please book early to secure your place and to avoid disappointment. This event is FREE (£60 deposit refundable on attendance for mock interview slots) for ASiT members. Interview slots are offered on a first-come-first serve basis. 

Please note that priority will be given to those currently applying in the current cycle. To prioritise applicants in the 2026 recruitment round, we kindly ask that you email a screenshot of your ORIEL application confirmation to info@asit.org to confirm your eligibility for the specialty mock interviews. This will be kept confidential.
