ASiT Foundation Skills in Surgery Course Stafford 7th June
This is a one-day event focusing on teaching the basic skills in Surgery. It is aimed to Foundation Doctors and Medical Students with an interest to pursue Surgery as a future career. The event includes practical sessions on basic surgical skills (knot tying, suturing, drain insertion and securing). It also offers guidance for applying to Core Surgical Training and a portfolio clinic with personalised information for CV improvement prior to applying. This is in line with ASiT's general guidance on the delivery of FSS.
