ROBO-GO Course

Thinking about a future in robotic surgery? Start your journey with this hands-on, beginner-friendly course built specifically for surgical trainees.

This introductory, platform-agnostic course is designed for core trainees and early specialty trainees who want to understand the basics of robotic surgery and get a head start with essential skills.

Delivered by leading robotic surgery educators from GSTT and IMRA, this half-day course provides practical, simulation-based training using VR and synthetic models to build your core skills and confidence - no prior experience required.

This Course Includes:

  • Overview of the fundamental of robotic surgical platforms and how they work
  • Basic console introduction
  • Introduction to build psychomotor skills transferable across systems (Da Vinci, Hugo, Versius).

Robotic Platforms
IMRA training takes place across multiple robotic platforms - depending on the workshop, you may have the opportunity to use Da Vinci, Hugo and Versius robotic platforms.

Faculty
Instructors for this course come from a pool of robotic surgery experts and are practicing surgeons with years of experience and thousands of procedures collectively behind them.
