Mr David Bunting

David is a Consultant in Upper GI and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Surgery working in the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He became a British Association of Day Surgery (BADS) Council member in 2018, was Editor of the Journal of One Day Surgery until 2021, and is the current BADS President. He has led educational projects and organised day surgery-themed meetings in collaboration with national organisations. He has worked with Integrated Care Systems and the Getting it Right First Time programme on several service improvement initiatives aimed at promoting excellence and maximising delivery of UK day surgery.
