IIdea to implementation: Champion surgical innovation using the IDEAL framework
Course summary:
This course aims to give attendees an understanding of the process of clinical innovation within surgery, from idea to implementation.
Gathering an expert faculty of experienced leaders in surgical innovation and entrepreneurship, the course will blend together knowledge of research skills, surgical innovation, and implementation science. This will equip attendees with skills and knowledge needed to champion surgical innovation in their clinical or academic careers.
This interactive course will track the course of 3 innovations in surgery throughout the day to illustrate important concepts throughout the innovation pathway. Delegates will be given several opportunities to apply knowledge and skills learned to these real world examples, with senior faculty who will guide and create an immersive environment.
