I am a military trainee in Vascular Surgery based in the Northeast. I graduated from Cardiff University, Wales and undertook my Foundation and Core Surgical Training in Middlesbrough albeit with a large gap in-between due to 3 years of General Duties with the Armed Forces. I have undertaken a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education, and I am keen to add to the educational/professional development opportunities for surgical trainees in the Northern Deanery. I am not someone who breezed through MRCS Part A, so one of my aims is to improve the support for this exam in the Northern Deanery. I hope to do this by setting up a course that is useful and that helps candidates consolidate revision, without breaking the bank!
