The decarbonisation of surgical care has been bolstered by the recent publication of the Green Surgery Report and development of the Intercollegiate GreenTheatre Checklist, but awareness and usage remain low. As current surgical trainees and surgical consultants of the future, we have the opportunity to lead the way in the development of high-quality, low carbon surgical care.
